last weekend we headed to down to d&m's place in RI with out bestest buds from CT. d&m's dog steely was there so puppy had a playmate and boy did they play. when we got home on sunday foster ate his lunch then immediately laid down & started snoring!

this is hickory, a scottish deerhound, and winner of the 2011 westminster kennel club dog show! isn't she a beautiful dog! we were routing for her to win.

daddy's boys

dave is sure to make time for both his boys when he's home in the evening. always giving lots of love to puppy and laying on the floor with him. recently jason has joined in on the floor activities as well.

puppy has been maintaining his usual babysitting duties as well.

the boys all seem to be getting along great! who needs mommy?

snow, snow & more snow

yeah yeah yeah we've been absent for a while. we're locked in a long, cold, snowy new england winter so there's not much going on. jason & i spend most days hunkered down by the fire in our jammies (maternity leave does have it's perks). foster continues to go to work with daddy & play in neck-deep snow with his puppy friends sabot & olive.

as requested by my BF, who lives in warm, sunny atlanta (altho not so much this winter!), i snapped some pics of the ridiculous mounds of snow that have accumulated on our property so far this winter. i managed to dash outside in my jammies & boots while jason was napping, altho he wasn't when i got back inside-i swear the kid has radar for when i leave his side, even when he's asleep.
