cozy time

foster loves cozying up to the fire every night. sometimes he gets his head so close i'm afraid he's going to burn it!this is probably going to be it for a while as we dive headlong into eating, drinking and merriment with family & friends for the next few days. hopefully we'll be back next week with pics and stories to tell!

snow spazz

foster is absolutely crazy in the snow. he spent the entire time we were shoveling chasing after the shovels, jumping headfirst into shovel-fulls of snow and eating snow. i tried snapping a few pics while we were outside last weekend after we got about 8 inches of fluffy white stuff.
trying to catch a shovel-full of snow...in his mouthchillin'playin' with daddyhe just LOVE LOVE LOVES the snow so much! and is a total spazz with excitement.

holiday ecard!

what's this? a weekend blog post?!?!?!? that's right my friends!
i just finished our holiday ecard and i wanted to post it! i copied this idea from our friend's J&J. i was too slow to get a real card out and this is an eco-friendly alternative. i might do this every year now!
this is a collection of some of our fav pics from 2009. since we didn't do much traveling (read: 6 weddings!) there's a lot of pics of family & friends, which is just as nice!

first snow!

we had our first snowstorm last weekend! nothing major, only maybe 2-3 inches. but as you may recall foster LOVES snow. so we went for a walk sunday morning in the peaceful aftermath.
i snapped this pic on our walk b/c i thought this tree looked kinda cool home sweet home playtime it's finally starting to feel like christmas!

lounging around

daddy was gone away in nantucket last weekend for work so puppy & i lounged around all weekend at home. these are 2 of puppy's favorite spots to get comfy......
in between the couch and coffee table and in front of the fire it was a nice relaxing weekend!

holiday cheer

we're amping up for the holidays around here. i put up the wintery wreath on the front door and hung up our stockings! you may recall seeing foster with his stocking last year....i took another pic this past weekend he's so grows up!! sniff sniff....
i stitched puppy's name into his stocking just like i did for dave's & mine of course i put foster's & dave's together on one side hoping to get the tree this week!

summertime in december

last week we had a 70-degree day here in massachusetts! i had 1 vacation day left to burn so i took a half day and puppy and i frolicked in the warm sun at gates pond. since it was 1pm on a thursday we pretty much had the place to ourselves. and wouldn't you know it...i remembered my camera! snaps to me. especially since people (christie!!) are pestering me for blog posts. :)
illegally swimming in hudson's water supply my feeble attempt to take a cool pic in the sun battling a huge stick then my camera batteries died-doh!
